Georgia’s State Mammal, the Whale, is Facing Extinction

The mainland and barrier islands off Brunswick, Georgia are in the middle of the Navy’s plans for the Atlantic Seaboard. The Navy will use this area for military maneuvers using sonar, an intense blast of sound that destroys a whale’s hearing and causes the soft tissue of its brain to rupture. “In These Waters” will attempt to give the plight of whales from the Atlantic Perspective Help raise awareness by signing our petition!
